Removal, labelling and cleaning
Doors and drawer fronts are removed, labelled and degreased using TSP and Scotch-Brite.
Sanding with HEPA dust extraction
Surfaces are sanded using our Mirka systems to prepare for adhesion while extracting dust at the source.
Protection, ventilation and primer
The kitchen is isolated and ventilated. Surfaces receive Lorchem Hydro Prime X professional primer.
Doors spray-finished flat
Doors and drawer fronts are spray-finished in our workshop. Cabinet boxes are finished on site in a protected, ventilated area.
Reinstallation and inspection
Our uniformed team reinstalls, adjusts and inspects each piece, then fits your chosen handles.

How long does it take?+
Our standard process takes five working days: work in your kitchen on Monday and Tuesday, workshop finishing and drying during the week, and reinstallation on Friday. The kitchen is a work area on Monday and Tuesday; allow access for reinstallation on Friday. Your quote confirms the schedule, including adjustments for extra work or the chosen coating system.
Do you spray inside the house?+
Yes. We isolate and protect the work area around the cabinet boxes and provide ventilation during application.
Can I change the handles?+
Yes. We can fill old holes, drill new holes accurately and supply Richelieu handles.
What determines the price?+
For a kitchen with 25 doors and drawer fronts combined, prices start at $5,000 for Command, $6,000 for 1K, $7,000 for 2K and $10,000 for piano high gloss, plus taxes. Onsite painting of cabinet-box exteriors is included. Piece count, cabinet boxes, surface condition and finish affect the price. Repairs and handle changes are specified in your quote. A visit confirms your project price.
Do I need to choose my finish first?+
No. We bring sample doors so you can compare colour, sheen and feel. You can request an estimate before deciding.
What is included?+
Your quote identifies the doors, drawer fronts and cabinet boxes included, along with preparation, primer, finish and reinstallation. New handles and repairs are itemized for your project. Countertop, backsplash and appliance replacement are excluded.
What does your five-year warranty cover?
Five-year workmanship warranty, starting when the work is accepted, for surfaces painted by Spécialiste en Spray and identified in the quote. It covers preparation or application defects attributable to our work, including related peeling or flaking.
Following assessment, we provide the corrective labour needed for covered areas at no charge. A local repair does not automatically require refinishing the entire kitchen; a touch-up may differ as the original finish ages.
This commercial warranty excludes normal wear, accidental scratches or impacts, and damage caused by leaks, excessive moisture, abnormal heat, abrasive or corrosive products, substrate movement or third-party work, when these do not result from a defect in our work. Pre-existing defects may be excluded only where not attributable to our work; known limitations are identified in the quote.
Report a problem as soon as you notice it to info@specialisteenspray.com, with photos and your project reference. Where possible, let us assess the surface before third-party repairs, without delaying urgent steps needed to prevent further damage.
Follow the curing and care instructions supplied for your finish. These terms describe our commercial warranty and do not limit legal warranties or rights and remedies under applicable law.
